The trade fair in Fredericia for livestock producers was visited by 4,583 agricultural decision makers.

 

At 5 pm on Thursday evening, the 257 exhibitors began dismantling their stands after two busy days at NutriFair 2019 at MESSE C.

 

This year’s fair for livestock producers was visited by some 4,583 professionals, which, according to project manager Jørgen Kronborg at MESSE C, is most certainly satisfactory.

 

“NutriFair is experiencing fiercer competition every other year, and the industry is currently battling with considerable uncertainties regarding Brexit, swine fever, feed prices and listings, among other things. That said, today we can round off a really great, well-attended fair, and I only have praise for the tremendous support shown by the industry,” says Kronborg.

 

He adds that the expanded area in Hall D has really established itself as an integral part of the fair, just as the bioenergy theme area in the same place has garnered much recognition. He also finds that all the presentations on the stages were very well attended.

“Finally, I would also like to highlight our focus this year on the UN Global Goals and our insistence that agriculture is not the problem, but part of the solution to a sustainable future. This agenda has drawn praise from several sides,” says the project manager.

 

“A professional trade fair”

There was also satisfaction with this year’s fair among the exhibitors:

“We are very satisfied. We’ve been busy on the stand – last year we calculated that 15 percent of visitors visited our stand, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we match that this year,” says Carsten Jensen, sales director of agribusiness company Brdr. Ewers.

He praises NutriFair for being a professional fair visited by professional people.

 

The company Washpower from Thy got off to a flying start by selling two of their cleaning robots before 11 am on the Wednesday! 

“If you ask us, NutriFair is getting better and better. It attracts highly relevant and interested visitors – this year, our visitors included a group of 15 Swedish farmers,” says export salesman, Kristian Pedersen. 

 

The dates for NutriFair 2020 are already in the calendar; it will take place from 15-16 January next year.
