PLENTY OF OPTIMISM ABOUT NUTRIFAIR 2019
There is record interest in exhibiting at the trade fair for livestock producers.
Even though NutriFair at MESSE C in Fredericia is still over seven months away, the prognosis for the agricultural trade fair is already extremely positive.
Companies are lining up to get on the list of exhibitors for what will be the eighth edition of the trade fair for livestock producers, in January 2019.
This means that 90 per cent of the number of stands we had at the 2018 fair have already been booked.
Jørgen Kronborg, who is project manager at MESSE C, is very satisfied when he says, “We already have seventeen per cent more bookings and ten per cent more square metres of floor space booked, compared to this time last year.”
These figures are particularly impressive when bearing in mind that in odd-numbered years, NutriFair faces tougher competition than in even-numbered years.
“We were a bit nervous about what would happen in 2019, particularly because there are, as you know, two other agricultural fairs in November; one in Denmark and one in Germany. But the prognosis so far seems to show that the industry is willing to prioritise NutriFair as a serious and innovative fair that people don’t want to miss. We are extremely pleased about this, as it is further proof that NutriFair has found a firm position that stands out in the market”, Kronborg stresses.
Further initiatives in the pipeline
Kronborg adds that work on sales will of course continue before and after the summer break, to ensure that visiting professionals are met by as wide a variety of exhibitors as possible.
“We also have a number of other initiatives in the pipeline. One of these is the close partnership we have entered into with Aalborg University and BioenergiMAGASINET on the development of NutriFair’s bioenergy theme. This is something we began to focus on in 2018 and we have high expectations of this partnership.”
“We are also part of an exciting collaboration on “Smartfarming” (digitalisation) in agriculture, mainly focusing on its applications in livestock production. This is a theme that many manufacturers are interested in and developments are moving rapidly in this sphere”, the project manager adds.
