NutriFair provides the setting for a major bioenergy conference
Danish and foreign experts give their take on the biogas sector of the future when NutriFair in Fredericia provides the setting for the bioenergy conference, which will be attended by up to 250 guests.
On 16 January 2019, MESSE C Fredericia will open its doors to this year’s NutriFair – the trade fair for livestock producers – and to a major bioenergy conference of international calibre, expected to attract up to 250 guests.
“The biogas sector of the future – shrinking costs” is the headline of the conference, which will take place in NutriFair’s bioenergy section, where biogas-related exhibitors are gathered.
The conference is being held in collaboration with Aalborg University’s Energy Section in Esbjerg, which is the lead partner in the Large Scale Bioenergy Lab2 research project, funded by the Interreg5a programme.
The collaborators include Hochschule Flensburg, Roskilde University (RUC), Vejen Municipality, Organic Denmark (Økologisk Landsforening) and a list of companies with expertise in the field.
The conference is open to all and, as mentioned, is part of the Interreg initiative, which supports and promotes cooperation across EU borders. Inspiring Denmark is assisting in marketing the conference in Germany and the rest of the EU, and the international aspect will also be in evidence on the day when industry professionals and experts from Denmark, Germany and the UK take the stage.
As mentioned, the conference will take place on 16 January from 10 am to 6 pm. The day will be divided into four themes: treating biomasses, biogas production, recycling residual biomass and integration of wind and solar energy in the biogas platform.
The headlines are:
- The next generation of biomasses – cheap, sustainable and plentiful
- The biogas process – increase your yield
- Biogas plants – the focal point of the circular economy
- Biogas – the great energy integrator
The day will feature no fewer than 17 fascinating and inspiring presentations and cases, making it almost impossible to leave the conference without being a whole lot wiser about the many aspects of bioenergy, now and in the future. There will be ample opportunity to network and meet the many suppliers to the biogas sector at the exhibition before, during and after the conference and during the breaks.
NutriFair will take place at MESSE C Fredericia on 16-17 January 2019. For more information, please visit www.nutrifair.dk, where you can also sign up for the conference from mid-October.
