You're probably on Facebook, but what about Twitter?

Twitter is a social media dominated by green organizations, politicians and other opinion makers. It is a place where there is a lot of "agribashing" going on and where not many farmers stand up for their trade - yet. It is also a place where journalists come up with ideas for their stories. Therefore, it is important that farmers participate in the debate and help nuance the picture on agriculture.

Flemming Møller, a veterinarian and Former Member of Parliament (V) has many years of experience on Twitter. In this presentation he gives tips on how to influence the media image by being active on Twitter and gives his opinion on why it can pay off.

Flemming Møller is also former spokesperson for animal welfare and EU for Venstre, and despite leaving the parliament in 2011, he has been participating in the debate ever since. Here his has used his political knowledge, his veterinary knowledge and his insight in agriculture to widen the picture on agriculture in Denmark.
