Organizers satisfied: The concept behind NutriFair continues to be a success

In 2024, NutriFair has been held on the regular schedule. Despite the cold and snow, the visitors made the pilgrimage to Messe C. This pleases both organizers and exhibitors, who find that it is the "right" guests who have turned up.

For the 11th time, NutriFair has filled the halls of Messe C. The fair is known as a gathering place for decision-makers within the agricultural industry, and it has lived up to that.

This is what Henrik Bendtsen, who is marketing director for feed at Danish Agro, says:

"NutriFair is targeted at exactly the right visitors for us. This time we have a big focus on digitizing the operation, so it has been incredibly rewarding for us that it is real manufacturers and their employees who have stopped by our stand."

Project manager at NutriFair Ida Brøgger Hahn is delighted. For her, it is important that the fair attracts the right visitors – agricultural professionals.

"Of course, it is important for our success this year that we are back at the January term, but it makes me very happy to hear from the exhibitors that the NutriFair concept continues to hold. We have created a fair for the agricultural managers and decision-makers, and they are the ones who have turned up this year, and that is gratifying.”

Digitization of agriculture

Among other things, Danish Agro was able to display its solar cells for digital control of silos on the stand. It has attracted people, explains Anders Amstrup, who is a professional advisor in digitalization at Danish Agro.

"On the first day, it took a few hours before people arrived because of the weather. But over both fair days we have been extremely well attended - both by visitors and the media. Those who have passed us by have had a genuine interest in having a chat with us," reads the assessment.

One of the visitors who stopped by Fredericia on Tuesday is Peder Liboriussen, farmer and owner of Hedegården on Alrø in Horsens Fjord.

"It is obvious to go here. It's not far for us to drive, and even though the weather was a little against us, it went smoothly," says Peder Liboriussen, who has come with his three colleagues.

"We have just talked about the fact that the fair works really well. If there is a seller or someone on a stand that you want to talk to, who is busy, then we have gone round, and then it has been convenient that we could have a chat when we have passed by again."

Well-attended fair

In general, it seems that the visitors do not go home disappointed. The fair has also functioned as a meeting place for business connections, says Henrik Kreutzfeldt, farmer, Alrø, Horsens Fjord.

"I have been able to talk to several of them, the ones I usually have on the phone. It has been really good to put a face on. It's a nice, manageable fair, where we can go here over dinner when we're done in the barn."

The corridors between the stands have been buzzing continuously for two days, and it is with great pleasure that NutriFair can report 4,270 visitors.

"We are really pleased to be on the other side of restrictions and to see that there is still an influx to the fair. We have hit the right target group, and we find that there are generally satisfied exhibitors all around. So we look forward to holding NutriFair again in the future," says project manager Ida Brøgger Hahn.
